Programming Languages and Computer Applications
I chose to learn more about
programming languages and computer applications because these topics stood out to me and both seem very important in the field of information technology.
Since I’m just getting started with IT, I think learning about these two areas
will help me build a strong foundation and give me the confidence to keep
moving forward in my studies and career goals.
I picked programming languages
first because I’ve always been interested in how websites, apps, and computer
systems are created. Programming is how we tell computers what to do, and it’s
behind almost everything we use in technology today. Even though I don’t plan
to become a full-time programmer, I think it would still help me a lot to
understand the basics. Learning how programming works will help me understand
more about the systems I might be working with in the future. One question I
want to explore is: What is the best programming language for someone new to IT
to learn first? I’ve heard a lot about Python being beginner-friendly, but I’d
like to do more research to really know which languages are most useful for
entry-level IT jobs.
The second topic I chose is
computer applications. These are programs we use on our computers for work,
school, and even personal tasks. I already use some common applications like
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but I know there are many other tools
used in the IT field. I want to find out which software programs are most
important for someone just starting out in tech. I also want to learn how these
applications are used in real jobs, like IT support or networking. One question
I want to answer is: What are the top computer applications used in entry-level
IT jobs, and how can I start learning to use them well?
Both topics connect to the career I
hope to build. I’m working hard to switch into the IT field from another job,
and I want to be as prepared as possible. Knowing how to work with different
software programs and having a basic understanding of how programming works
will help me become a better problem-solver and support technician. I believe
that if I focus on these areas now, I’ll have a better chance of finding good
opportunities in the future.
I’m excited to dive deeper into
these topics and see what I can learn. I know that the more I understand
programming languages and computer applications, the more confident I’ll feel
as I move forward in the IT field.
